Tommee Tippee was founded over half a century ago. Born from a mission to make everyday life easier for new parents, Tommee Tippee is a feeding bottle and child care brand based in Benton Lane, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, United Kingdom. It all began in 1940’s, when three entrepreneurial brothers in California had the idea to design a cup for babies that wouldn’t tip over. Although their initial prototype was rejected, but they kept on working on it and decided to give their new cup a weighted base. The brothers named this cup after their beloved dog, Tommee. In the year 1969, a British businessman loved their cup so much that he invested in their idea.
